It was at the tender age of 13 when Mariah Denigan @Mariahdenigan confidently stated to me, “I want to go to the Olympics!” Little did we know, her dreams would soon become a reality. Join us at Sports Nutrition 2Go and Dawn Weatherwax’s Sports Nutrition Academy as we celebrate her journey and cheer her on for the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024.
The Start

The Doha Worlds 10k was a nerve-wracking experience. Mariah began in 10th place. The tension was palpable, and the delayed telecast from Peacook TV only added to the suspense. However, despite the nerve-wracking start, Mariah was focused and determined.
Refeeding 25th Place
With each refeeding, her position fluctuated, even falling to 27th place at one point. As her Sports Dietitian, I found

myself worrying about her performance and whether my recommendations were working for her. The transition from training to competing on such a large scale is never easy, but Mariah was putting up a strong fight.
Go Mariah!
My son and I were glued to our screens, tracking her place position every 1-5 minutes. We were cheering “Go Mariah” until we were losing our voices. The stakes were high, and the tension was mounting. Shockingly, with only half a lap to go, Mariah managed to secure the 9th place.

Half Lap to Go!
But Mariah was not done. In an insane finish, she managed to sprint ahead, securing the 6th place by a mere 10,000th of a second! Every tenth of a second counts in this high-stakes competition, and Mariah proved her mettle.
The Finish!
She did it! This finish qualified her for her dream destination - the Olympics! All the

years of training, all the sweat and tears, were finally paying off. Mariah Denigan was off to the Olympics!
Olympics!
Let me remind you, only 22 in the World can qualify for this prestigious event. This achievement is a testament to Mariah's hard work, determination, and exceptional skill. We are immensely proud and excited to see her represent us at the Paris Olympics 2024.

So, join us in wishing @Mariah Denigan the best of luck. She is not just a champion swimmer; she is an inspiration for all aspiring athletes. “This is just her beginning”!
Thank You!
Thank you, Mariah, for letting me be a part of your incredible journey. Words cannot express how happy I am for you!
We are all behind you. Go Rock Paris!
